Get Some Free Quantum Finish Dishwasher Detergent This Weekend! #FinishTradeIn

PhotobucketWell, December is here and holiday preparations are into high swing! It’s the time of the year where we all have a million things to do, and money is often a bit tight! I am always looking for different ways to save money at this time of year, and so I was THRILLED when I heard that I could get myself a FREE box of Quantum Finish dishwasher detergent tablets this weekend!

We seem to go through dishwasher detergent like mad in December. My husband’s birthday is in the middle of the month, so we have a big dinner for him. Then I am doing a lot of Christmas baking throughout the month, and it seems like on those days, the dishwasher is going non-stop. So I was really happy to hear that I could score a free box of Finish Quantum tablets, which is a brand that I use anyway! I had tried other brands in the past, and received a mail-in rebate offer about a year ago, and decided to try Finish Quantum. Needless to say, I was very happy with the results. My dishes were clean, and no spots to be seen on the glasses. It didn’t matter whether I rinsed the dishes or not, the Finish Quantum tablets packed a punch, and cleaned even the nastiest load of pots and pans.

Each of these specially marked boxes of Finish Quantum will have a mail-in rebate which entitles you to a full refund! So essentially, you are trading in your empty box of old dishwasher soap for a free box of Quantum! What a great (and cost-saving) idea for the holidays! I know I’ll be doing some Christmas shopping at Walmart on December 7th weekend anyway, so I’ll be picking up my box of Finish Quantum while I am there!

A cool Facebook freebie I found this morning…a free set of cosmetic brushes from LancrOne. I have never heard of this company, but according to their page, is based in San Francisco, and has been around since 2001. As far as  I can tell, the offer is available to US and Canada. I would fill it out sooner, rather than later, as I can’t imagine there will be a huge amount of freebies available for this one. It’s a great offer, better than most. Freebie Alert! Vitanity Drink Mix

Another cool freebie for the taking! This time, the offer is available to both U.S. and Canadian residents, 18 years or older. It’s a sample packet of Vitanity Drink Mix. There are five different nutrient mixes to choose from, depending on your needs–Charge, Focus, Amplify, Resist and Soothe. The nutrient breakdown for each mix is listed, so you can get an idea of what they are putting into their product, and whether it’s appropriate for you.

After you choose your sample, you can add up to three flavors to put into the packets. Very cool! I chose Amplify with cherry and raspberry flavoring. The site says that your sample should arrive within 2-6 weeks. Check it out!

Freebie Alert–Vitamints!

Vitamints--Calm

Here is a cool freebie I came across today–a new product on the market called Vitamints. It’s exactly what it sounds like, a vitamin which is formulated into a mint. There are several different varieties, depending on what you are looking for (including multivitamins, calm, energy and focus). They don’t contain as much vitamin content as you would find in your typical supplement, so you can safely take up to 10 mints per day.

As a pharmacist, I can tell you that many people find it difficult to take vitamins, due to their size. There is a certain subset of people who, for whatever reasons, can’t deal with the idea of swallowing a large, solid tablet. For this reason, this product seems like a good idea. The website says that they can be swallowed, or sucked upon like a regular candy mint.
