I am a flower lover, we have lots of blooms in our garden. We are by no means very effective gardeners, but we do enjoy the flowers we have. You will often see me crouching on the ground with my camera or cell phone taking pictures of a flower in full bloom.
Last year we bought a bunch of perennials, annuals and a rosebush. For some reason, we bought this rosebush, got distracted by other things, and then let the poor thing shrivel up. I thought it was dead. We never even got the chance to transplant it! I felt horrible about it. My husband decided to try and salvage it, so we transplanted it into our garden and let nature take its course. We didn’t give the rosebush any special attention, as we were pretty sure it was dead anyway.
Well, nature took over, and lo and behold, the little rosebush came back to life. The leaves turned from brown to green, with nothing but rainwater, and very poor clay-type soil as nourishment. We got one beautiful rose last summer, which I captured in this photograph. Nature’s little miracle!
